Patrol PC | Why Patrol PC?

Patrol PC is the Only Ultra-Rugged All-in-One in the Industry

When you're in a demanding profession, you want tools that aren't just easy-to-use, but also built to withstand the daily requirements of the job. Patrol PC systems are built from the ground-up with public saftey professionals in mind.

Patrol PC systems are designed to meet MIL-SPEC-810 specifications for shock, vibration and temperature. Set by the US military, MIL-SPEC standards help ensure that hardware can survive extreme environments of any kind.

Ultra-Rugged Solid Aluminum Frame

Every single Patrol PC tablet unit is milled from a single solid block of aluminum, which protect the motherboard and all of the other internal components with a framework surround that is nearly indestructible. Hit it with a hammer or drive over with your patrol car - it won't break. And, since the back of the frame is essentially a massive heat-sink, the unit can operate without the need for an internal fan.

Ultra-Armored Touchscreen

Of course, a computer is only as good as its interface. That's why Patrol PC units are equipped with ultra-rugged PC touchscreens that can easily take a punch from a wayward fist, a poke from a misguided flashlight, or a jab from a pen.

Ultra-Rugged Interface Connections

With Patrol PC, you'll no longer have to deal with the usual frustrating collection of wires and connectors. That's because Patrol PCs interface is entirely enclosed with an aluminum plate, allowing for tie-downs and protecting the most delicate external parts of the computer unit.

Patrol PC is Optimized for Police, Fire & EMS Vehicles

Patrol PC is Made in the USA

When you're in the field, you want to know that the tools you use were designed with YOU in mind. That's why Patrol PC is designed from the ground-up, with each and every feature optimized for use in police, fire and EMS vehicles. That's all the Patrol PC is built for and it's all the Patrol PC manufacturers do - 24x7, 365 days a year. Built with feedback from thousands of users, each unit is designed to help you operate more effectively.

Designed for Compact Cockpits

Those old massive Crown Vics are gone. Today's patrol vehicles are smaller and that means the gear that you use has to be smaller, too. Patrol PC hsa accomplished that, packing a powerful computer into a 12" x 9.15" x 1.75" case. There are no docks, no external components in the glove box or trunk, and absolutely no extra wiring.

Bright Display

When you're in your vehicle all day and night, you want to make sure that you can view the screen in any condition. That's why Patrol PC comes with an optimized ultra-bright 1200 NITS touchscreen. Whether you're in sunny California or rainy Seattle, the display is easy to read and easy to use.

Optimized for Easy Access

In the unlikely event that Patrol PC needs service, or when you want to upgrade a specific component, you won't have to worry about excessive vehicle downtime. That's because Patrol PC is enclosed in a semi-indestructible aluminum frame that lets you access all of the vital components by loosening four screws.

Optimized for Easy Interaction

With a full proprietary control system, Patrol PC allows you to set system controls for boot up and shutdown, screen brightness, manage battery power, set hot keys and more. Set it up the way you want it and then lock down your system with password protection.

Patrol PC Has the Lowest Total Cost of Ownership

Total Cost of Ownership (TOC) is the total cost of a computer throughout its useful life, from purchase to disposal. Just like a vehicle is more than just the purchase price - there's also gas, insurance, maintenance, etc. - computers have associated costs. For many non-rugged computers, that cost can be as much as eight times the initial purchase price.
