The new Gammatech Durabook TA10, a new rugged tablet designed for the unique demands in the utility industry, was recently featured in Fleet Owner Magazine. The 10.4-inch display tablet device features a high performance CPU, ultra-high brightless LCD, and the Intel's Ivy Bridge processors.
“We are delighted to be able to introduce our new Durabook TA10 rugged tablet at DistribuTECH, the utility industry’s leading smart-grid conference and exposition,” said Jen Chen, GammaTech president. “This new tablet makes perfect sense for utility workers out in the field with its ultra-high screen brightness for easy viewing. Its ruggedness and durability stand up to virtually any harsh environment. Its mobility factor is enhanced with Bluetooth and Intel WiFi wireless connectivity as well as an optional internal GPS function.”
The new tablet capitalizes on the utility of today's commercial tablets, but upgrades the casing and display to make it the perfect device for light industries of all types.
Optional accessories on the device include docking station, TPM 1.2 data security, Intel anti-theft technology and asset/data protection software. A fingerprint scanner is also available.
